Captivating Canada – The Land of The Maple Leaf

If you are visiting North America then, Canada is one place you just cannot leave out from your tourist destination list. It is one of the most economically advanced countries in North America and is one of the most traveled destinations in the world. It is the world’s second largest country what with an area of about 10 million sq km. Not only do you get to see festive cities like Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa, you also get to roam around wheat waving prairies, take a train ride through the Canadian Rockies and also take a close look at the polar bear!

The Campbell River is on the east coast of central Vancouver Island in Canada and is known as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’. Fishing is one activity you are bound to enjoy here especially when most of your catches will definitely be big (around 70lb) king salmons! You can also enjoy tours and family events here.

Haida Totem Poles

The Haida Totem Poles is a World Heritage Site and are a splendid part of Canadian history. The attractive poles are in the village of Ninstints (Nans Dins) and are basically carved memorial poles reflecting the Haida people’s way of life. Do visit this place to take a look at Canadian heritage. Saskatchewan or ’swift flowing river’ is situated in the Canadian West. Its parklands, landscapes, creeks and lakes are bound to enthrall you apart from the horseback tours through grass covered hills. Traveling in Canada is a piece of cake as all facilities exist so go ahead and make that Canadian visit and enjoy the Canadian beauty!
